If you're planning holiday celebrations or New Year's Eve recovery events, post your event on the Recovery Month website to link your event to the national campaign to promote the benefits of treatment and recovery. You can also post your 2012 events now, and they'll appear on the 2012 website when it launches on January 3, 2012.  Enter the 2011 Community Event Award Program by January 31, 2012 In 2012, SAMHSA will acknowledge the efforts of those who planned and organized events for 2011 Recovery Month through SAMHSA's Recovery Month Annual Event Award Program. All events must be posted on the Recovery Month website by December 31, 2011, to be eligible. Check the icon indicating interest in consideration for the Recovery Month Annual Event Award Program. Recovery Month Wins MarCom and eHealthcare Leadership Awards The 2010 Recovery Month campaign won a 2011 Platinum MarCom Award in the Marketing/Promotion Campaign/Materials category. The MarCom Awards program is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals. The 2010 Recovery Month campaign was also awarded the Distinction Award in the Best Health/Healthcare and Content category from the eHealthcare Leadership Awards. The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program exclusively recognizes the very best websites of health care organizations (both large and small), online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers, and business improvement initiatives.  The Recovery Month 2012 Website Launches January 3, 2012 Get started on your 2012 Recovery Month campaign early in the year. The 2012 Recovery Month website launches on January 3, 2012. In January, you'll be able to post the new 2012 Recovery Month campaign banners and logos on your website and find out more about the year's theme. New material will post throughout the year, including Road to Recovery Programs, public service announcements, and the 2012 Toolkit, amongst others.
